Take ecology to a new level. Instead of synthetic dyes, prints can be made with natural dyes. Waste coffee is a good alternative to light beige tones. The tone can be strengthened with biocarbon black or red ochre if necessary.

Take ecology to a new level. Instead of synthetic dyes, prints can be made with naturally available dyes. Printscorpio combines traditional natural colors and modern printing technology.

Natural dyes are cultivated and processed by Natural Indigo Finland in Nivala in Ostrobothnia. Prints can be made from dyes extracted from woad and willow.

Woad produces blue tones:

- mulberry (Isatis tictoria) was for centuries the most important dye plant in Europe

- indigo obtained from woad has been called the king of colors

- With Printscorpion's pigment printing method, almost all the dye can be utilized

Brown and gray tones are obtained from willow:

- willow (Salix Phylicifolia) is the fastest growing tree species in Finland, so:

- dye production does not harm nature

- the raw material is renewable

Natural colors can be machine washed at 40°C and can be ironed with cotton heat. Both morsingo and willow have good resistance to light.
