100% polyester Coolmax

Coolmax® is a special polyester (synthetic fibre) by Advansa. The fibre does not absorb moisture. When being on the skin, it removes the moisture away from the surface of the skin. This feature is based on the four channelled structure of the fibre, which makes the area of the fibre 20 % larger than that for normal polyester.

Coolmax®-knittings are used especially in work- and sports clothes as well as undergarments. It is easy to maintain and feels soft. Coolmax® is machine washable and dries quickly.

COOLMAX® freshFX™ is a fibre modified from Coolmax®, in which silver ions have been added to the fibre structure. The silver ions reduce bacterial growth, which prevents the growth of bacteria and smell of sweat to build up on the skin. The effect is permanent and it stays in the wash.
